Thurston Way at State Route 500, Vancouver, Washington Compaction grouting of sewer trench backfill was provided by Moore & Taber to minimize soil compressibility under new loading conditions of a proposed approach fill. The grouting process allowed construction of the new interchange to proceed without costly relocation of the sewer line, and ancillary lost time.
