Moore & Taber used compaction grouting ground treatment methods to improve foundation soils beneath the brick smokestack on this historic hotel site as a liquefaction mitigation measure. The smokestack was part of the oldest coal-fired power generation facility on the West Coast. Limited access techniques and equipment were required to complete this project.
