Moore & Taber began in 1954 as a group of geotechnical engineers and geologists, serving Orange County's growing need for engineering design input.  Moore & Taber formed a compaction grouting division in 1972 to address occurrences of differential fill compression beneath many of Southern California's hillside tract developments.  Since then, we have developed and applied ground improvement methods using our own resources.  Of paramount concern in the development of techniques and hardware has been integration of positive engineering control (including thorough record-keeping) with cost-effective methodology.

In 2004, Moore & Taber proudly celebrated its first 50 years! 

Although Moore & Taber is no longer a geotechnical engineering firm, we do provide a diverse blend of specialized contractor services in the field of remedial ground improvement. In addition to compaction grouting, Moore & Taber also provides structural releveling, slope stabilization, permeation grouting, repair of seawalls and revetments, foundation repair, mechanical jacking, subsealing, pile repair, and mitigation of liquefaction potential.  We also a relatively new dynamic compaction technology known as "Rapid Impact Compaction".  Our professional and technical staff have an aggregate experience level of over 90 years, with several of us having been with the organization since the "early days".  Moore & Taber's office is located in Anaheim, California.
